What happened when nurses at a North Carolina hospital noticed higher than normal numbers of infants testing positive for marijuana? No, thankfully they did not call the police. Instead, the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill instituted a study and found something quite bizarre: that baby soap commonly used on infants were resulting in positive marijuana screenings. Learn which 5 baby soaps caused the babies to test positive.
Baby Soap and THC
Researchers aren’t sure why the soaps are causing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC – the active component in marijuana) to show up on test results, but they are reassuring parents that the soaps are not making their babies high. According to My Health News Daily, the test results could be positive because “some of the compounds in the soap have a structure that is partly similar to THC, or it could be that chemicals in the soap change the way the test works.”
They believe that the soap residues remaining on the babies’ skin is finding its way into urine samples collected for the drug tests, not because the soaps are leaving traces within the baby.
Soaps that they found apt to trigger the positive drug screen include the following:
- Johnson & Johnson’s Head-to-Toe Baby Wash
- Johnson & Johnson Bedtime Bath
- CVS Night-Time Baby Bath
- Aveeno Soothing Relief Creamy Wash
- Aveeno Wash Shampoo
“We really did this to help protect families,” said Dr. Carl Seashore of UNC-Chapel Hill and a researcher on the study. A positive drug test in an infant could be sent over to the authorities if medical professionals thought the child was at risk. A sweet-smelling baby soap could ultimately be a piece of the puzzle that results in child protective services investigating a parent’s parental competency.
Usually, drug screenings are only performed on infants when the mother is believed to be “high-risk” for drug addiction, something that could be determined by a new mother’s own admissions or by her lack of prenatal care. UNC-Chapel Hill hospital conducts such screenings on anywhere from 10-40% of newborns every month.
Following the study, the hospital at UNC-Chapel Hill now sends all positive newborn drug tests to a lab for further confirmation, something most other hospitals don’t due simply due to cost and time.
While a single positive test for marijuana wouldn’t likely cause someone to lose their child, it could warrant an unnecessary investigation. It’s importantl that the information from this study be shared with hospitals and pediatricians across the country to avoid any possible misunderstandings.
John Vine, the Government’s chief inspector of immigration, highlighted the failings of Border Force staff in a highly critical report.
It followed a study of the immigration and customs operation Gatwick Airport’s North Terminal last summer.
It was Mr Vine who disclosed the unauthorised relaxation of immigration checks which heaped embarrassment on Theresa May, the Home Secretary, and led to Brodie Clark being forced out of his job as Border Force.
He found a series of irregularities in the way in which searches were being conducted, which were not only discriminatory, with Afro-Caribbean women being singled out, but were also not recorded properly.
“Although the majority of person searches involved men, women were significantly more likely to be subject to a strip search than men if a search was undertaken.”
During this period 54 per cent of women who were stopped and inspected by Border Force officers were subsequently strip searched. For men the proportion was less than 20 per cent.
Grounds for subjecting woment to a strip search included the fact that they had bought a ticket the day before travel, were carrying £200 in cash or had said they were in Britain to look for hair and beauty products.
According to Mr Vine there were insufficient grounds to search the women who had been picked out at all, let alone subject them to a full strip search.
The way in which the searches were done and recorded was also legally questionable, Mr Vine added.
“The failure to observe the correct recording procedure can render evidence inadmissible in court and mean officers could face charges of assault in relation to the conduct of person searches.”
Mr Vine also observed that officers had stopped individuals because they felt they had to stop someone.
His report also highlighted an incident where a gay passenger was subject to discriminatory treatment because he was with a boyfriend and an officer believed “he might be involved in paedophilia”.

Added fluoride is a toxic poison often loaded with arsenic, mercury, and other toxins.
It seems as though every time an American town or city drops the added fluoride chemicals from its water supply, the dinosaur media comes out with its usual talking points about how water fluoridation is one of the greatest public health interventions ever granted by the government to its minions, and that without added fluoride chemicals, everyone’s teeth would rot right out of their heads.
These are just a few of the many deluded and outdated lies that get repeated over and over, ad nauseam, every time a community dares to challenge the prevailing fluoride dogma of the day — and these are lies that, fortunately, many people are learning to simply disregard. But one of the more sneaky lies now getting repeated is the one which implies that added fluoride chemicals are no different than the naturally occurring fluoride elements already present in many water supplies.
In a recent piece published at emissourian.com, for instance, which reads more like an epitaph, the Associated Press (AP) bemoans the fact that Pevely, Missouri, a local community near St. Louis, has decided to stop adding fluoride to its water supply in order to conserve much-needed funds. And in memorializing the great loss of its beloved fluoride in Pevely, the AP makes false insinuations that added fluoride chemicals are exactly the same as naturally occurring fluoride minerals.
After commenting about how fluoride minerals are naturally present in water supplies throughout the St. Louis area, the unidentified AP writer explains how these levels are not “optimal.” He or she then goes on to say that cities that fluoridate their water supplies are simply topping off fluoride levels to reach this so-called “optimal” range, making no differentiation between natural fluoride and chemical fluorides like hexafluorosilicic acid and sodium hexafluorosilicate.

Suspicions have been confirmed for those wary of vaccinating their children. A recent large study corroborates other independent study surveys comparing unvaccinated children to vaccinated children.
They all show that vaccinated children have two to five times more childhood diseases, illnesses, and allergies than unvaccinated children.
Originally, the recent still ongoing study compared unvaccinated children against a German national health survey conducted by KiGGS involving over 17,000 children up to age 19. This currently ongoing survey study was initiated by classical homoeopathist Andreas Bachmair.
However, the American connection for Bachmair’s study can be found at VaccineInjury.info website that has added a link for parents of vaccinated children to participate in the study. So far this ongoing survey has well over 11,000 respondents, mostly from the U.S.A. Other studies have surveyed smaller groups of families.
Nevertheless, the results were similar. Of course, none of these studies were picked up by the MSM (mainstream media). None were funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) or the World Health Organization (WHO) or any national or international health agency or medical profession group (http://healthimpactnews.com).
They don’t dare compare the health of unvaccinated children to vaccinated children objectively and risk disrupting their vaxmania (vaccination mania). The focus for all the studies was mostly on childhood illnesses occurring as the children matured.
Dramatic, debilitating, or lethal vaccine injuries were not the focus since so few, five percent or less, actually get reported to VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Injury Reporting System) in the U.S.A. for various reasons including:
* It’s a complicated system that takes time from a doctor’s practice.
* Most parents don’t know about it.
* Only adverse reactions that occur immediately after vaccinations are considered.
* Since VAERS is voluntary, most doctors don’t want to incriminate themselves with vaccination injuries and maintain their denial of vaccine dangers.
Consequently, even the most terrible adverse reactions are minimally acknowledged, while long term negative health issues resulting from vaccines are not even considered relevant.
Search engine company has said there has been a troubling increase in requests to remove political content from the internet.
There has been an alarming rise in the number of times governments attempted to censor the internet in last six months, according to a report from Google.
Since the search engine last published its bi-annual transparency report, it said it had seen a troubling increase in requests to remove political content. Many of these requests came from western democracies not typically associated with censorship.
It said Spanish regulators asked Google to remove 270 links to blogs and newspaper articles critical of public figures. It did not comply. In Poland, it was asked to remove an article critical of the Polish agency for enterprise development and eight other results that linked to the article. Again, the company did not comply.
Google was asked by Canadian officials to remove a YouTube video of a citizen urinating on his passport and flushing it down the toilet. It refused.
Thai authorities asked Google to remove 149 YouTube videos for allegedly insulting the monarchy, a violation of Thailand’s lèse-majesté law. The company complied with 70% of the requests.
Pakistan asked Google to remove six YouTube videos that satirised its army and senior politicians. Google refused.
UK police asked the company to remove five YouTube accounts for allegedly promoting terrorism. Google agreed. In the US most requests related to alleged harassment of people on YouTube. The authorities asked for 187 pieces to be removed. Google complied with 42% of them.

An unsuspecting Tony Blair was door-stepped once again during one of his recent high-paid “lectures” in Hong Kong late last week by a British activist.
Tom Grundy, who hails from the city of Wednesbury in the West Midlands, England, confronted the UK’s most notorious modern war criminal last Thursday, attempting a citizen’s arrest for Blair’s own deceptive role in the Iraq War citing a violation of the Nuremberg Principles – the internationally recognized rules of engagement put into place following the Second World War in order to prevent unnecessary aggression by one state against another.
After Blair’s personal entourage of security managed to push Grundy out of the venue, the event organizer and host quips to the room of attendees, “I’m sure you’re used to this all the time”, to which the incredibly shady ex-British PM replied, “I am used to it.”
